When you are looking for a graduate job, it doesn’t matter how good you are at applications, interviews and assessment centres, if you aren’t able to pass the psychometric tests. They are a brutal stage inserted into the recruitment process for companies of all sizes with the sole aim of cutting down the number of successful applicants. It is just a fact of life that you are going to have to do a combination of verbal, numerical, situational judgement tests and in-tray exercises.

The good news though is that there is a secret to passing these tests…..Practice practice and more practice. I know there are free resources you can find on the internet, but when it comes to practicing for these tests you 100% get what you pay for, and this is not a time when you want to be scrimping. You don’t want to be looking back on your application for a dream graduate job, where you have a rejection letter and have to wait for another year to apply all because you failed the online tests.
